1
28:1 Since, therefore, all things are seen and heard of him, let us fear him
and abandon the filthy desires for evil deeds, that we may be sheltered by his
mercy from the judgments to come.
28:2 For whither can any of us fly from his mighty hand, and what world shall
receive any of them that desert from him?
28:3 For the scripture saith in a certain place, Whither shall I go, and
where shall I conceal myself from thy face? If I ascend into heaven, thou art
there; if I depart into the uttermost parts of the earth, there is thy right
hand; if I shall make my bed in the abyss, there is thy Spirit.
28:4 Whither then shall we depart, and where shall we fly from him that
embraceth all things?
