1
[1] For the blood of the soul given by the Lord shall dwell in them as it did formerly. If you do not believe the dead will arise, observe how creatures arise in the rainy season without being born of a mother or father.
[2] He commanded them formerly by His Word to die.
[3] Their flesh being destroyed and rotten, yet renewed again, they shall arise as He desires.
[4] Again, when the rain falls and satisfies the Earth, they shall arise as they were created formerly.
[5] Just as those who are ever-living with a soul of blood, and those who live in this world, and those whom Water produces have been created—He having said, "Let them be created"—as the Lord’s authority dwells upon the Water, she gives them a soul of blood by His authority and His Word.
[6] Since they are created by His authority and Word without a father or mother—you who are blind in reasoning, who say, "The dead won't arise"—if you have knowledge or Wisdom, how can you say the dead won't arise by the Word of their Creator, the Lord?
[7] As the dead—who were ashes and dust in the grave—shall arise by the Lord’s Word, as for you: enter into repentance and return to your religion.
[8] Just as His Word spoke formerly, they shall arise by the Dew of Pardon found from the Lord.
2
That Word shall turn the whole world and arouse the dead as He desires.
[9] Know that you will arise and stand before Him; do not let it seem to you in your dullness of mind that you will remain in the grave.
[10] It is not so. You will arise and receive hardship according to the measure of the work you did, whether it was good or evil.
3
Do not think you will remain there, for this is the Day when they will receive hardship.
[11] In the time of Resurrection, you will receive hardship for all the sins you committed. You will pay for the sins written from your infancy until that time; you will have no excuse or pretext for your sins, unlike the way you deny your sins in the work of this world.
[12] Just as you make your false word seem like truth before you, and make the lies you spoke seem like truth—you will have no such pretext there.
[13] Because your soul knows all the evil work you did, and because she will reveal it before her Creator, the Lord—as the Lord’s Word shall dwell upon you and speak against you—you have no reason to offer an excuse.
[14] You will be ashamed there because of the sins you committed.
4
You might wish to be among those thanked for their beautiful work; so, lest you be shamed before man and Angels on the day of Judgment, quickly enter into repentance in this world before you arrive there.
[15] Those who praise the Lord with the Angels shall receive their reward from their Creator without shame, and they shall be joyful in the Kingdom of Heaven. However, unless you did good works while you were in the flesh, you have no portion with the righteous.
[16] Since you were not prepared while you had knowledge and while you had this world to enter repentance, there shall be useless regret upon you—especially because you did not give a morsel to the hungry when you had money.
[17] And because you did not clothe the naked when you had clothes, and you did not save the wronged when you had authority.
[18] Because you did not teach the sinner when you had knowledge, so that he might return and repent, and that the Lord might forgive him the sins he formerly did in ignorance.
5
And because you did not fight the demons who quarrel with you when you had the Power to prevail.
[19] And because you did not fast or pray when you had the strength to weaken the power of youth over the flesh, and to subject yourself to Righteousness, which does not show favoritism to the flesh...
[20] ...which does not favor the pleasures of this world in fine drink and sweet food, nor adornment in fine clothes, silver, and gold...
[21] ...and as you did not fast or pray when you had the strength to subject yourself to Righteousness—which does not adorn itself in honored Indian jewels like emeralds and topazes—there shall be useless regret upon you. This is not the proper ornament for a person.
[22] The true ornament of a person is purity, wisdom, and knowledge—loving one another as is right, without envy, jealousy, doubt, or quarrels.
6
It is loving your companion as yourself...
[23] ...and not doing evil to someone who did evil to you. This is true love, so that you might enter the Kingdom of Heaven given to those who endured tribulation.
7
He might then give you the honored Kingdom and your reward for having hope in the Kingdom of Heaven at the time of Resurrection, along with those honored in knowledge and wisdom.
[24] Do not say, "After we die we won't arise," for the Devil cuts off the hope of those who speak and think this, so they won't be saved at the Resurrection. They will realize they have hardship upon them when the Advent arrives.
8
In the Resurrection, those who committed sin in ignorance will be deeply sad when their sins are brought back to them, for they did not believe they would arise on that Day.
[25] For this reason, they shall be reproached according to the measure of the evil work they did in this world, and they shall see the Resurrection they denied, by which they will arise together in the flesh.
[26] They shall weep at that time because they did not do good works. It would have been better for them to weep in this world, if possible, rather than be among those who weep in Gehenna.
[27] If we do not weep in this world by our own choice, demons will make us weep against our will in Gehenna.
9
If we do not enter into repentance in this world, we prepare worthless and useless cries and mourning in Gehenna.
[28] Prepare good works, so that you might cross from death to Life, and go from this passing world toward the Kingdom of Heaven, to see the Light of the Kingdom that surpasses all light in this world.
[29] Refuse the pleasures of this world, so that you might be joyful beyond measure in the Kingdom of Heaven—in joys that are not fulfilled from today until eternity, along with those who believe the dead arise.
