And the giants cried out with a great voice before Enoch, saying: Intercede for us with the Most High, for we have heard that the decree has been sealed against us.

Then Enoch answered them and said: I interceded for you, but the Ancient of Days said: There is no place for them on earth and no hope of mercy.

For they have transgressed the commandments of the Lord, and taken for themselves the daughters of men, and begotten children not according to spirit but according to flesh.

And behold, destruction is coming — a great flood — and it will destroy all living things and cleanse the earth of all the corruption wrought by the Watchers and their children.
