1 And it is from here that an impure wind called Aririya comes out, and there are a thousand and a multitude with it and these are all called those who curse the day, as you would say: Let them curse it who curse the day (Job 3:8). And that wind, and all those with it, all stand to take that word when a man curses himself in his anger. So these arouse that snake, which is called Leviathan the Elusive Serpent (Isaiah 27:1), in order to bring and arouse Leviathan against the world. This is [the meaning of] that which is written: Let them curse it who curse the day, etc..
